Just finished watching that movie with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz. Aside from all the cutesy scenes, and storyline, I was captivated with one part in particular.

Joy (Cameron Diaz) keeps a photo of the beach she took one day and explained to Jack (Ashton Kutcher) that it was the best day she ever had, she keeps it as a reminder of the careless, relaxing day she had, and how it pleased her. 

This motivated me, in a way. As I was driving home from work today I saw the glittering lights of the Vegas strip, and that made me wonder, it made me want to just stop in the middle of the road, take a picture, and ponder. That feeling encouraged me to travel more, get a camera, and enjoy the natural wonders of the world. Especially since I’ve been so caught up with worrying about so many different things. I NEED A BREAK.

Next on my “Stuff to buy myself” list is most definitely a camera. A Canon Powershot SX30IS in particular. I’m also considering attending UNR in the fall to get away and find myself a little more.
